Hello! I’m Lisa and I teach art classes.

Not the intimidating kind. Not the “everyone silently judges your brushstroke” kind. Definitely not the “you should already know this” kind. No pressure. No art degrees required. No secret handshake.

I’m allergic to snobby gatekeepers. I break out in sarcasm.

If you’ve ever thought:

• “I’m not creative.”

• “I’d probably mess it up.”

• “I don’t even own good markers.”

You are my exact favorite person.

I’m a “multimedia” artist which means everything from canvas and watercolor painting to digital art. I must have 20 kinds of glue and thousands of broken jewelry and spare board game pieces to turn into recycleart.

I teach youth and adult beginner-friendly workshops mostly around Northern California (especially the Sacramento / Elk Grove area), plus online classes you can join from your couch.

You show up.
I provide the materials (unless I say otherwise).
You make something real.
You leave proud of yourself.

Sometimes we paint.
Sometimes we glue tiny objects to other tiny objects.
Sometimes we tell stories and play with AI tools.
Sometimes we go deep into tech with VR art.
Sometimes we decorate things that reflect you. (Yes. That was a mirror joke.)

Come make stuff with me!
Lisa
